Product Overview
The WLNJ-30 is a heavy duty limit switch equipped with a high-strength coil spring lever actuator. It is used for mechanical position detection, travel limit control, and movement feedback in industrial automation equipment. The coil spring lever actuator allows contact from different directions, making it suitable for moving machine parts where the contact direction may vary during operation.
This page describes model WLNJ-30 only. The switch is commonly used on machine tools, conveyors, cranes, hoists, elevators, industrial doors, packaging equipment, and other systems that require reliable position or stroke detection.

Drawing
Outline and Mounting Dimensions
The drawing is used to confirm the body outline, mounting hole position, coil spring lever direction, actuator clearance, and conduit connection position of the WLNJ-30. Before installation, check that the moving part can contact the spring lever smoothly without excessive impact or permanent deformation.

Contact Form

WLNJ-30 uses a double-circuit contact structure. The normally open contact uses terminals 3–4 and closes when the actuator is operated. The normally closed contact uses terminals 1–2 and opens when the actuator is operated.
The contact logic should be selected according to the control circuit. Safety-related or fault-detection circuits often use NC logic, but the final wiring method must follow the electrical design of the equipment.

Load Notes
- Surge current: NC 30A under, NO 20A under.
- Inductive load has a power factor of 0.4 minimum for AC and a time constant of 7 ms maximum for DC.
- Lamp load inrush current is approximately 10 times the steady-state current.
- Motor load inrush current is approximately 6 times the steady-state current.
- For inductive, lamp, or motor loads, the inrush current should be considered during circuit design.

Selection Guide
Actuator Direction
WLNJ-30 is suitable for applications where a moving part may contact the actuator from different directions. The coil spring lever can absorb small alignment variations, but the contact should remain smooth and controlled.
Electrical Load
Confirm the operating voltage, load type, current, and contact logic before selection. For motor, lamp, or inductive loads, consider the inrush current rather than only the steady-state current.
Mechanical Stroke
The WLNJ-30 has a pre-travel value of 40 ± 20 mm. The installation should provide enough travel for reliable actuation while preventing permanent bending or excessive force on the spring lever.
Environment
The IP66 protection degree supports use in dusty, oily, and wet industrial environments when the switch is properly installed. Avoid continuous immersion and direct high-pressure water jets unless additional protection is provided.
Wiring Logic
Use terminals 3–4 for NO logic and 1–2 for NC logic. The final wiring method should match the machine control design and safety requirements.
