Product Overview
TZ-8108 is an adjustable roller lever vertical limit switch designed for mechanical position detection, stroke limit control, and machine operation feedback in industrial automation systems. The switch uses a roller lever actuator, allowing a moving cam, guide rail, plate, or mechanical stopper to contact the roller and actuate the internal contact mechanism.
This model is suitable for conveyors, packaging machinery, machine tools, access mechanisms, automated fixtures, and other equipment where stable mechanical position sensing is required. This page describes model TZ-8108 only.

Drawing

Outline and Mounting Dimensions
The drawing is used to confirm the product outline, mounting hole position, actuator direction, roller lever clearance, and cable entry direction before installation. The moving part should contact the roller smoothly and should not apply excessive impact to the actuator.
Contact Form

TZ-8108 uses a double-circuit contact structure with one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. The normally open contact uses terminals 13–14 and closes when the actuator is operated. The normally closed contact uses terminals 11–12 and opens when the actuator is operated.
Wiring logic should be selected according to the control circuit. Safety-related circuits often use NC logic, but the final selection should follow the electrical design of the equipment.

Load Type Notes
- Inrush current: NC below 24A, NO below 12A.
- Inductive load has a power factor of 0.4 minimum for AC and a time constant of 7 ms maximum for DC.
- Lamp load inrush current is approximately 10 times the steady-state current.
- Motor load inrush current is approximately 6 times the steady-state current.
- For motor, lamp, or inductive loads, the inrush current should be considered during circuit design.

Selection Guide
Actuator and Motion Direction
TZ-8108 uses an adjustable roller lever actuator. It is suitable when the moving part contacts the switch through a cam, guide rail, plate, or mechanical stopper. The roller lever helps reduce friction during repeated mechanical contact. The actuator direction and roller contact angle should be confirmed before installation.
Electrical Load and Contact Rating
Before selecting TZ-8108, confirm whether the control circuit is AC or DC and identify the load type: resistance, lamp, inductive, or motor load. For motor, lamp, or inductive loads, select the switch according to the inrush current and not only the steady-state current.
Stroke, Overtravel and Reset
The moving part should provide enough travel to operate the roller lever reliably while avoiding excessive mechanical impact. For TZ-8108, the pre-travel is 20° maximum, the overtravel is 75° minimum, and the total travel is 95° minimum. After operation, the lever must be able to reset smoothly.
Installation Environment
TZ-8108 is suitable for dusty, oily, and light water-exposure industrial environments. It is not designed for continuous immersion. Avoid direct high-pressure water jet unless additional protection is used. The cable entry should be properly sealed, and the ambient temperature should remain within the rated range.
Wiring and Contact Logic
The normally open contact uses terminals 13–14, and the normally closed contact uses terminals 11–12. Select NO or NC logic according to the control system. Safety or fault-detection circuits often use NC logic, but the final wiring design should follow the equipment control scheme.
