Drawing

Outline and Mounting Dimensions

The drawing is used to confirm the outline structure, mounting hole position, actuator length, flexible rod movement space, and cable entry direction of the TZ-8107. Before installation, check that the moving mechanical part can contact the rod smoothly without excessive impact or permanent deformation.

Before installation, check the mounting hole position, actuator clearance, cable entry direction, and operating angle of the flexible rod. The actuator should be contacted smoothly by the moving mechanical part and must be allowed to return reliably after operation.

Contact Form

TZ-8107 Contact Form and Wiring Diagram

TZ-8107 uses a double-circuit contact structure with one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. The normally open contact uses terminals 13–14 and closes when the actuator is operated. The normally closed contact uses terminals 11–12 and opens when the actuator is operated.

Wiring logic should be selected according to the control circuit. Safety-related circuits often use NC logic, but the final selection should follow the electrical design of the equipment.

Load Notes

  • Inrush current: NC below 24A, NO below 12A.
  • Inductive load has a power factor of 0.4 minimum for AC and a time constant of 7 ms maximum for DC.
  • Lamp load inrush current is approximately 10 times the steady-state current.
  • Motor load inrush current is approximately 6 times the steady-state current.
  • For inductive, lamp, or motor loads, the inrush current should be considered during circuit design.

Selection Guide

Actuator and Motion Direction

TZ-8107 uses a flexible rod actuator. It is suitable when the detected object may contact the actuator from different directions or when a wider mechanical tolerance is required. The rod should be contacted smoothly and must not be used as a rigid stopper for heavy impact.

Electrical Load and Contact Rating

Before selecting TZ-8107, confirm whether the circuit is AC or DC, the operating voltage, current, load type, and whether the control system uses NO or NC logic. For motor, lamp, or inductive loads, select the switch according to the inrush current and not only the steady-state current.

Stroke, Overtravel and Reset

For TZ-8107, the pre-travel is 20° maximum, overtravel is 75° minimum, movement differential is 10° maximum, and total travel is 95° minimum. The actuator must return reliably after operation. Avoid bending the rod beyond the usable operating range.

Installation Environment

TZ-8107 has an IP65 protection degree and is suitable for industrial environments with dust, oil mist, and light water exposure. It is not designed for continuous immersion. Avoid direct high-pressure water jet unless additional protection is used. The cable entry must be properly sealed.

Wiring and Contact Logic

The normally open contact uses terminals 13–14, and the normally closed contact uses terminals 11–12. Select the contact logic according to the control circuit. Safety or fault-detection circuits often use NC logic, but the final wiring method must follow the machine electrical design.

FAQs

TZ-8107 is a vertical limit switch with a flexible rod actuator. It is used for mechanical position detection, stroke limit control, and machine operation feedback in industrial automation equipment.

TZ-8107 uses a flexible rod actuator. This actuator is suitable for applications where the detected object may contact the switch from different directions or where wider actuation tolerance is required.

The normally open contact uses terminals 13–14, and the normally closed contact uses terminals 11–12.

The rated load depends on voltage, load type, and contact logic. For example, under resistance load, TZ-8107 is rated at 5A for 125VAC and 250VAC. For lamp, inductive, and motor loads, the inrush current should also be considered.

TZ-8107 has an IP65 protection degree. It is suitable for industrial environments with dust, oil mist, and light water exposure, but it should not be used for continuous immersion.

Before replacement, check the actuator type, mounting dimensions, rod movement direction, contact terminals, rated load, operating stroke, and cable entry direction. The moving part should contact the flexible rod smoothly and allow reliable reset.

Yes. TZ-8107 has a compact water-proof and oil-proof structure with IP65 protection. However, the cable entry and mounting area should be properly sealed, and the switch should not be exposed to continuous immersion or excessive mechanical impact.
