Product Overview
The LSA-021 is a plastic roller lever type vertical limit switch designed for mechanical position detection, travel limit control, and machine operation feedback in industrial automation equipment. It uses a roller lever actuator to convert mechanical movement into an electrical switching signal, allowing the control circuit to stop, reverse, change speed, or confirm the position of a moving mechanism.
This page describes model LSA-021 only. It is suitable for applications where a cam, plate, guide rail, door mechanism, conveyor component, or moving machine part contacts the roller lever during operation.

Drawing
Outline and Mounting Dimensions
The outline drawing is used to confirm the body dimensions, mounting hole position, actuator movement direction, roller lever clearance, and cable entry arrangement of the LSA-021. Before installation, verify that the machine part can operate the roller lever smoothly without excessive side impact or mechanical interference.

Contact Form

LSA-021 uses a 1NO + 1NC snap-action contact structure. The normally open contact uses terminals 13–14 and closes when the actuator is operated. The normally closed contact uses terminals 11–12 and opens when the actuator is operated.
The contact logic should be selected according to the control circuit. For position confirmation or safety-related interlock circuits, NC logic is often used, but the final wiring method should follow the machine electrical design.

Load Type Notes
- Inrush current: NC below 24A, NO below 12A.
- Inductive load has a power factor of 0.4 minimum for AC and a time constant of 7 ms maximum for DC.
- Lamp load inrush current is approximately 10 times the steady-state current.
- Motor load inrush current is approximately 6 times the steady-state current.
- For inductive, lamp, or motor loads, select the switch according to inrush current, not only steady-state current.

Selection Guide
Actuator and Motion Direction
LSA-021 uses a plastic roller lever actuator. It is suitable for applications where a moving cam, plate, or guide rail contacts the roller during machine movement. The roller lever helps reduce friction and allows smoother mechanical actuation than a fixed lever.
Electrical Load and Contact Rating
Confirm the circuit voltage, current, load type, and required NO or NC logic before selection. For lamp, inductive, and motor loads, check the inrush current in addition to the rated steady-state current.
Stroke and Overtravel
The LSA-021 has 20° maximum pre-travel, 22.5° tripping position, and 75° minimum overtravel. The moving part should operate the roller smoothly and provide enough reset space after actuation.
Installation Environment
The IP66 housing is suitable for general industrial environments with dust, oil mist, and water exposure. The switch should not be used for continuous immersion, and cable entry sealing should be confirmed after wiring.
Wiring and Contact Logic
The NO contact uses terminals 13–14, and the NC contact uses terminals 11–12. Select the wiring logic according to the machine control system and interlock requirement.
