Product Overview
The AZ-7121 is a vertical micro switch equipped with an adjustable roller lever actuator. It is used for mechanical position detection, travel limit control, equipment interlock, and machine operation feedback in industrial automation systems. The actuator is suitable for applications where a moving cam, plate, guide rail, or mechanical stopper contacts the roller during machine movement.
This page describes model AZ-7121 only. The adjustable roller lever structure allows the operating position to be matched with different mechanical layouts, making it suitable for automation equipment, conveyors, machine tools, door mechanisms, packaging equipment, and general industrial control circuits.

Drawing
Outline and Mounting Dimensions
The drawing is used to confirm the body outline, mounting hole position, roller lever direction, actuator clearance, terminal location, and cable entry direction of the AZ-7121. Before installation, check that the moving mechanical part can contact the roller smoothly and allow the lever to reset without obstruction.
The actuator should be operated within the allowable travel range. Avoid using the roller lever as a direct mechanical stopper or exposing it to excessive impact from the moving part.

Contact Form

AZ-7121 uses a common terminal with normally open and normally closed contact outputs. The normally open contact closes when the actuator is operated, and the normally closed contact opens when the actuator is operated.
Wiring logic should be selected according to the control circuit. For machine interlock or fault-detection circuits, NC logic is often used, but the final contact selection must follow the electrical design of the equipment.

Load Notes
- Inductive load has a power factor of 0.4 minimum for AC and a time constant of 7 ms maximum for DC.
- Lamp load has an inrush current of approximately 10 times the steady-state current.
- Motor load has an inrush current of approximately 6 times the steady-state current.
- For spring-type actuators, the usable operating range should be within one third of the whole spring length from the front end of the spring.

Selection Guide
Actuator and Motion Direction
Select AZ-7121 when the machine structure requires a roller lever actuator and the operating position needs adjustment. The moving part should contact the roller smoothly from the correct direction without side impact or excessive force.
Electrical Load and Contact Rating
Confirm the circuit voltage, load type, contact logic, and current before selection. For lamp, motor, and inductive loads, consider inrush current instead of only steady-state current.
Travel and Reset
Check the actuator travel before installation. AZ-7121 has 11.0mm maximum pre-travel, 3.0mm minimum overtravel, and 2.4mm maximum movement differential. The lever must return smoothly after the moving part is released.
Installation Environment
The shell is designed for water-proof and oil-proof protection in general industrial environments. Avoid continuous immersion, strong direct water jet, corrosive liquid, and excessive mechanical impact unless additional protection is used.
Wiring and Contact Logic
AZ-7121 provides common terminal wiring with NO and NC contact outputs. Select NO or NC logic according to the control circuit, safety logic, and equipment operation sequence.
